Today was a glorious fall day. Bob and I drove to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia to spend more time practicing our camera skills. The town is on a steep hill overlooking both the Potomac and the Shenandoah rivers and the point where they merge together and continue to flow as The Potomac on towards Washington, DC.
Because the town has so little parking, we parked at the National Park Service Visitor Center and took their shuttle bus to town. It was a good choice, even with the $6.00 per car fee to enter the park.
