Today was probably our last camera test. We had the sensor cleaned to rid it of some dust that was showing up as spots on the pictures. They are gone now but South Africa is a dusty climate where we are going in Kruger National Park, so it is likely that dust spots will appear as we travel.
Nearby, in Herndon we have a lovely park filled with farm animals. The park is Frying Pan Park, a Fairfax Co. Park, and it includes a horse riding community of barns and jumps, a 4H facility, a preschool, a carousel, a shop, and Kidwell Farm where they have farm animals, diary equipment, a blacksmith forge. Please enjoy the photos we took today.
Six days until we leave for Africa. We are so excited.
